Bicholim, Goa: The Jaycee Cricket Championship 2026, hosted by JCI Bicholim, concluded with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship, bringing together JCI chapters from across Goa for a vibrant and competitive event.

JCI Ponda emerged as the Champion of the Year, delivering an outstanding performance throughout the tournament. JCI Calangute secured the second position, while JCI Mapusa finished third.
The grand closing ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Chandrakant Shetye, Honorable MLA of Bicholim Constituency and Chairman of Infotech Corporation of Goa Limited, whose presence added prestige to the occasion. Other distinguished guests included JFM Adv. Mamta Naik, Zone President, JCI India Zone 11, and JFM Asmita Gauns, President of JCI Sanquelim.

On the field, Rahul from JCI Ponda delivered a remarkable performance, earning both Player of the Match in the finals and Player of the Series. Pranay from JCI Calangute was awarded Best Batsman of the Series, while Adharsh from JCI Ponda secured the Best Bowler of the Series title.
In the Lady Cricket Championship, JCI Ponda once again showcased dominance by clinching the title, with JCI Parra finishing as runners-up. Ankita from JCI Ponda was named Player of the Series in the women’s category.

Additional recognitions included JCI Parra receiving the Fair Play Award, while JCI Sanquelim bagged both the Highest Delegation and Early Bird Award. The Best Flag award was won by JCI Mapusa, with JCI Curchorim as runner-up. In the Hitting Wicket category, JCI Mapusa secured first place, followed by JCI Santa Cruz.

The event also featured fun-filled activities, adding to the festive atmosphere. Santa Cruz won the “Ghoom Chakar,” followed by Margao. In the Lemon Spoon (Ladies Group), JCI Calangute secured first place, with JCI Parra second. In the Jr. JC category, Diptesh (JCI Parra) and Vidhi (JCI Mapusa) secured first and second places respectively. The Sack Race winners were Sheela (JCI Curchorim) and Vijaya (JCI Vasco).
The championship concluded on a high note, celebrating excellence in sports along with leadership, unity, and community spirit—the true essence of the Jaycee movement.
